About AZED Insights

AZED Insights is a data-driven resource focused on the testing and evaluation of AR-15 components, ammunition, and related equipment. The goal is simple: provide clear, measurable information that shooters can use to make better decisions about the gear they buy and use.

AZED Insights was created by Preston Moore, the creator of a YouTube channel dedicated to testing and evaluating AR-15 barrels, ammunition, and related components. The project grew out of the testing performed on the channel, where products are evaluated using structured and repeatable methods including group analysis, velocity data, inspection, and borescope evaluation.

While video is a great format for showing the testing process, it can be difficult to quickly reference specific results or compare products side-by-side. This website exists to solve that problem.
